Doc MOJO....is a 6 piece band based out of Jacksonville, Florida.  When this group formed in September 2008, it was a kind of "pure magic" from the beginning.  Originally the band started out as a power trio.  However, serious thought was given and more was wanted for that "MOJO" sound.  The group took a big turn and the magic happened with the additions of Charles Miner and Geoff Kracoe.  Instantly the dynamics of the band changed, but it wasn't quite enough for everyone's satisfaction.  Finally, the missing piece of the puzzle came to light when Joel Bise joined the band.  From the first few notes, they all knew that this was the sound they had been searching for.  "PURE MAGIC", or better said as "MOJO"....is the only way to describe what you hear and feel from this 6 piece power house. 

So....how did the guys come up with the name you ask?  Well for starters, when they played there was "magic" in the air.  Finally, one of the guys said that the group had "MOJO" at a rehearsal.  From there the wheels started turning and the guys agreed to add "Doc" to it, and so....Doc MOJO was born.  Their trademark sound of searing guitar work, strong vocals, smooth keyboards, and a "powerful" rhythm section; make this band of ordinary "Joe's", far from ordinary.  With more than 10 years of professional experience between these guys, you'll find yourself wanting  more after only one of their shows.  Doc MOJO is the real deal, and professional through and through.  We should look for wonderful things happening in their bright future.
