Another great show at the Island! Many thanks to Tracy, DJ Ski, all the ladies behind the bar and of course, all the great fans that always give us a warm welcome and join us for music and fun.
Special thanks also to Jeff Rivera, the son of our bass man, Gerry Rivera. Jeff came along to help the old men haul equipment and hang out to enjoy the show. Little did he know, he'd have the opportunity to join the show for the last set when drummer Tommy succumbed to illness that had plagued him all evening. After hanging in like a champ and a real pro while playing flawlessly as though nothing was wrong, Tommy asked Jeff if he'd like to "drive the Lexus" (Tommy's massive drum set). Jeff jumped at the chance and we all got to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Jeff stepped in and played like a real pro, having never rehearsed with us, just as his father did back when he first joined the band. It's obvious that natural musical talent runs in the family. Many thanks Jeff for all your hard work, as well as for lending a helping hand with your musical skills.

Thank you so much to all the great folks and fans at The Island Bar in St. Marys. We always have the best time playing for you guys and you always make us feel right at home. There's nothing like that "Southern Hospitality" in St. Marys. We always especially enjoy playing for the troops when they are hanging out and "getting their mojo on" during a weekend night at The Island. Tonight was particularly special, as it was Veterans day. It was also just a few days past the one year anniversary of Butch's last gig with us there at the Island before heading off to his final deployment when God called him home on 11/2/2010.

The new docmojo.com is now live. We appreciate everyone's patience while we recreated our website in a simpler to manage form. Our dearly departed brother, Butch Klein had created the original site from scratch. At the time of his untimely passing, he was the only one that knew how it worked. So it did fall into a state of disrepair and stale postings.

We've now started using a web service with pre-fab web content that's easy to click and drag to create pages, so we'll have an easier time keeping it current and up to date.

Check back often for news and updates about availability and future engagements.
